What I will do to graduate from high school

What I will do to graduate from high school
I personally want to graduate from high school but that is not a easy task. What I will do in order to complete that tasks is always do my homework no matter how long or how hard it is even if I don’t understand how to do the work I will try it or ask someone if they understand how to do it and if they could do it that is great and they can help me understand how to do the work myself that way I will never miss a assignment and always do my homework. A second thing that I will do to graduate from high school is to always study before a test no matter it is a big test that is worth a lot of points or a test that is worth a little amount of points. I need to be able to pass the test and get those points to help me towards my grade and get a A for that assignment. Every last point can make a difference and help towards a higher grade. A third thing that I will do to graduate from high school is never talk back to my teachers because first that is showing that you have no manners and that will make your teachers assume that your parents didn’t teach you the manners you need in life. Second of all that will get you in trouble with your teacher and lower your grade, will also get you in trouble with the principal of your school and can get you suspended and that time that you are suspended you will fall behind from your work and will most likely effect your grade and you will have a lot of work to catch up starting with test and ending with homework and you will need to try even harder to make your grade go up again. That is what I will do to graduate from high school. So always choose the right.

How to succeed in school Part 1

How to succeed in school

 Part 1
ü  Get organized

ü  Use good study habits

ü  Learn how to take test

ü  Believe in your self

Some experts say the difference between good student and poor student isn’t mainly ability. Instead it’s how students organize themselves to use their abilities. A little organization can produce amazing results!

Get organized

·       Have a homework agenda or scribbler to keep track of assignments, and always carry it.

·       Ask the teacher for some outside help when the classroom explanation is not adequate for you.

·       Use scribbler to put your notes in and keep them organized.

·       Have phone numbers for classmates, especially of one who will be your “homework buddy”. This is someone in your class who collects hand-outs and assignments for you when you are absent from school. You can barrow your buddies notes when you return to school, and you can do the same for this friend.

·       Ask questions when  you are unsure of something.

·       pay attention in class as it is very easy to let your mind wonder. Take notes, concentration on what is being said; it will be easer to absorb the information being presented.

·       Keep your bookshelf, desk, and kitbag neat

·       Be prepared for each class, bring  the materials you need to class (including pencil and paper).

Acquiring the habits of successful students Part 13

Acquiring the habits of successful students

Part 13

If you do not naturally have all those characteristics, then do not despair. Each of them can be accomplished by your own application. You can use medication and visualization techniques to initiate your vision, and they can certainly be learned both for that purpose and for each step you take to reach your goals. Simply visualize your desired goals, that of being a star student, a champion of doing what is right, and see yourself working hard to become outstanding, and your dreams and vision will materialize as you peruse these objectives.  Setting goals and objectives can be a personal or business technique that can be learnt. You can develop inner strength to succeed if you apply yourself by doing just that; that will enable you to recover from setbacks more easily.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students part 12

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Part 12

What is important to you is that you, as you start to reach milestones in your ambitions, you appreciate your own achievements. It is a boost, of course, if others appreciate what you have done too, but appreciating yourself will strengthen your self-belief, and reinforce your determination to succeed. Some of the key characteristics you will find in those who are successful are perseverance, prepared to research, plan and work hard, practice a lot even when things do not seem to be going so well, and an ability to recover and learn from setback. At the outset of whatever  it is you are trying to succeed in, a strong vision of your future, planning, and setting yourself achievable targets can all play an important role.

·        They prefer tasks with some degree of difficulty and novelty, which stimulate their learning skills.

·        They don’t apply the simple criteria of success-fail to their learning. Remember, they are focused into the learning process.

·        They know how to handle groups.

·        Finally, they work with passion.

Other chief habit is that of asking questions. We have to establish hypothesis and set concrete, realistic goals. After reading any text we have to ask several different questions related to its content, in order to verify if we have completely understood the text. It’s also important to try to relate such text and others area of our knowledge. Again, linking ideas and concepts is a habit of highly successful students. So, link
